JotScreen is developed and operated by SABIO LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Nevada, United States. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to SABIO LLC.

What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy explains how JotScreen collects, uses, and protects information when you use our iOS application. By installing or using JotScreen, you agree to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

Information you provide

If you contact us for support, we may collect your name and email address solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not require you to create an account to use JotScreen.

Content you create

Screenshots, annotations, and other content you create with JotScreen are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this content unless you explicitly choose to share it with us (for example, when attaching a screenshot to a support request).

Analytics and usage data

We collect anonymous usage data to understand how JotScreen is used and to improve the app. This may include:

  • App launch and session frequency
  • Feature usage patterns (which tools are used most often)
  • App version, iOS version, and device model
  • Crash logs and performance metrics
  • General geographic region (country level, derived from IP address)

This data is collected in aggregate and does not personally identify you. We do not track individual browsing activity outside of JotScreen.

Purchase information

JotScreen offers in-app purchases processed through Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment transactions are handled entirely by Apple. We do not collect, process, or store your payment details, credit card numbers, or Apple ID. We receive only a transaction confirmation and receipt from Apple to verify your purchase and unlock features.

Device identifiers

We may collect anonymous device identifiers (such as the Identifier for Vendors) for analytics and to verify purchase status. We do not collect the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) and do not participate in ad tracking.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain JotScreen's features and functionality
  • Process and verify in-app purchases
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve the app
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

Third-Party Services

JotScreen integrates the following third-party services:

  • Apple StoreKit — processes in-app purchases. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Apple App Store Analytics — provides aggregated usage and sales data to us through App Store Connect.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not integrate advertising SDKs.

Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months to identify long-term trends. Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterward. Purchase verification data is retained for the duration of your use of the app to maintain your access to purchased features.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. Analytics data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the data we hold about you
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of analytics collection
  • Request correction of inaccurate data

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. International Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis for collecting analytics data is our legitimate interest in improving JotScreen. You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To make a request, contact us at jotscreen@sabio.studio.

Children's Privacy

JotScreen is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If changes are significant, we will provide notice within the app. Continued use of JotScreen after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
